MDAR046 Murine RNase Inhibitor
Recombinant RNase inhibitor with enhanced stability.
Product Descriptions
Murine RNase Inhibitor inhibits RNase A, B and C with extremely high specificity. This murine version is more stable that its human homolog. It does not interfere with DNA polymerase, RNA polymerase, or reverse transcriptase activities. This recombinant Murine RNase Inhibitor is expressed and purified from an E. coli strain that carries the cloned RNase Inhibitor gene.
Applications
Murine RNase Inhibitor can be used in applications that need to protect RNA from RNase digestion, such as
Isolation and purification of RNA.
in vitro transcription of RNA.
Cell-free protein translation.
cDNA synthesis for RT-qPCR and RT-PCR.
Direct cell lysis for RNA release.
Unit Definition
One unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to inhibit 50% of 5 ng of RNase A activity; RNase A activity was quantified byhydrolyzing Cyclic 2',3'-CMP to produce 3'-CMP.
Concentration
40 U / μl
Reaction Condition
Murine RNase Inhibitor can be used in a wide variety of buffer conditions with optimal final concentration of 0.4-1U / µl in the reaction. Avoid conditions with temperature higher than 50 °C.
Key Performance Data
Enhanced Heat Resistance
Inhibition of RNase A activity and heat resistance property of Fapon Murine RNase Inhibitor (MDAR046). All 3 batches of Murine RNase Inhibitor show complete inhibition of RNase A activity with 2 units of protein. With heat treatment at 60℃ for 10 min, all 3 batches of Fapon Murine RNase Inhibitor show complete inhibition of RNase A activity with 4 units of protein. However, Murine RNase Inhibitor from Company B shows much less thermostability. Compan B’s product showed complete inhibition of RNase A activity with at least 20 units of protein. The reaction mix above contained 0.5-40 units of RNase Inhibitor, 2 μg yeast RNA and 1 ng of RNase A. The reactions were incubated at 37°C for 10 min and the digested samples (10 µl) were analyzed in 2% agarose gel.
Superior stability at 37 ℃
Superior stability of Murine RNase Inhibitor (3 batches) compared to similar products from Company A and B.
